About Us
Here at Applied we offer in-house cleaning, maintenance, & coating services to all refractory pieces (NEW or USED). Our goal is to provide the best restoration & coating service available in the refractory industry.
We have several sites off the Gulf Coast of Texas that service these parts with advanced machinery operated by trained professionals.
The company was established in 2018 by James Lindsey who has decades of experience in the refractory industry. He is also President of our sister company “Applied Refractory”, where we manufacturer a variety of high temperature products to some of the largest refineries in the United States. Our mission is to give you the best service available in your time-frame.

Burner Cleaning Procedure & Cost
Stage 1:
Burners are put into ultrasonic machinery to remove all loose scale.
Stage 2:
Burners are put into our vapor horning machine to remove hard scale O.D. and I.D.
Stage 3:
Having all loose and hard scales removed, we magnaflux the burner for cracks or thin spots on the burner I.D. and O.D.
Stage 4:
Repair any cracks, welds in O.D. and I.D.
Stage 5:
After inspection, the burners are put onto the pallets and shrink wrapped with a report on each burner. At that point, each burner is assigned a number, where the burner can be tracked over time on our maintenance program. This allows us to track each burner for performance and reliability. Our cleaning cost is $850.00 per burner, to replace the burner head and re-weld is an additional $350.00.
